Binah.ai’s software-based technology employs advanced AI and deep learning algorithms to extract various health measurements using Photoplethysmography (PPG) within 20-60 seconds. Our technology combines computer vision, signal processing, and machine learning techniques to extract and analyze PPG signals and deliver vital signs and biomarker measurements. Delivered as a Software Development Kit (Binah SDK), the technology supports contactless spot checks through camera-based devices like smartphones and tablets, and continuous checks through contact-based PPG sensors.
Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a well-established, non-invasive optical technique used for measuring physiological parameters. PPG has been in use since 1942 in oximeters, which can commonly be found in hospitals today. PPG is also used in wearables to measure health indicators such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, blood tests, and more. The technique measures the changes in light absorption caused by variations in blood volume by emitting light into the tissue on the surface of the skin and subsequently detecting the light transmitted or reflected back. The measured changes enable the assessment of various physiological characteristics.
Whether for spot or continuous checks, Binah.ai delivers any way you need it
Binah.ai offers businesses a software-only Health Data Platform that enables spot and continuous health and wellness checks anytime, anywhere, utilizing cameras on smartphones, tablets, laptops, as well as PPG sensors.
Binah.ai‘s video-based spot-check technology is delivered as a software development kit (SDK).
Binah.ai‘s continuous check technology is delivered as an SDK or a ready-to-use app, Binah Connect. Learn more about our SDK here.
Binah.ai’s SDK is compatible with a range of devices and platforms, including iOS and Android mobile devices as well as web applications for Google Chrome and Safari.
Binah.ai’s continuous checks are compatible with the Polar Verity Sense™.
No, Binah.ai does not have access to end user data.
Binah.ai’s unique edge architecture allows end users to perform health checks without an internet connection.
Binah.ai’s fall detection technology uses the gyroscope and accelerometer of a Polar Verity Sense™ optical heart rate sensor, worn by the user, to detect falls. In the event of a fall, the system can generate a timed notification prompting the user to respond. If unanswered, the system triggers two consecutive vital signs checks while an alert with the location of the event can be sent to designated contacts. These settings are customizable to your organization’s needs.
Binah.ai operates on a B2B model and does not sell directly to consumers.
